How you can achieve nominal weight in a very positive and natural way without causing any harm to the body. Harm to the body?
When we are underweight, we follow the methods which tend to increase our weight. But they cause a negative impact on the body.
If you are unable to achieve nominal weight then it might be a problem for you. There are so many problems associated to underweight. Such as fatigue, nausea, issues related to hair and skin, infertility issues, developmental issues.
There are so many hormonal changes in the body and the hormonal system in our body is unable to combat that.
What needs to be done?
So that we do not face all these issues. I do not intend to scare you but being underweight is more dangerous than being overweight.
Have you heard about Dementia?
There are such hard poignant stories of Dementia. So I want you to be very strong. Your immune system becomes stronger if you are not underweight.
Doughnuts and soda are not a solution, absolutely not. If you think that you are thin and you will eat anything, then it’s wrong. We have to nurture a seed but not only nurture it but also grow it in a healthy way. So you aim to reach a nominal weight but in a healthy way.
Not by eating trash. You have to reach a nominal weight in a healthy way. Only then you will be able to achieve it, otherwise, you will bounce back to square one. So that is what we don’t want.

What are all things you have to do?
So to all the wonderful people there, I am sharing very basic things with all of you which will help achieve nominal weight. The things that I will be sharing with all of you are absolutely simple. But if you execute all of these things thoughtfully and not just for the sake of doing.
If you will follow the things mindfully as I am telling you. Then I assure you that you will achieve nominal weight in a very simple and easy way. And you would not face any problem. So let’s begin with what all needs to be done.
- The very first thing is “home-cooked food only”.
You being thin doesn’t mean that you will eat anything. Your body is unable to understand home-cooked food so how will it understand outside food. Which you know nothing about the oil, spices, salts used. That is why you should eat only home food until you achieve nominal weight.
- Number 2 is to regulate protein intake as well as increase it.
All of us reside in different parts of the country. If I will tell you to eat this then you will say we do not have access to it. That is why whatever you are eating, the flora around you.
Make sure that it has a high protein content. We do so much binge-watching and waste our internet. Invest some of it for yourself and check the protein content in various food items. Food item having the highest protein content needs to be consumed first.
I am coming to that as well. But we have to increase our protein content. Should I tell you a very simple trick? (P for pulses and P for protein)
P for pulses that means pulses have a very high content of protein. So this should be consumed first. I will make this a third point.
- Number 3 is whenever you have food, eat protein first.
Because when you are hungry, whatever you eat first, digestive juices disintegrate it and release energy in the body.
So eat protein first, after that, you can have vegetables, carbohydrates that are Chapatis. But protein first, so have a bowl of daal (pulse) first and then have the remaining food. It is beneficial and will help you a lot.
- Number 4 would be: Have 3-5 meals a day.
Meal means that which has all the nutrients. There are 5 basic nutrients but for you, the very first one is protein. After that carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and fats.
When you consume all of these in a regulated manner, your body starts reverting gradually to all of them. If you become thoughtful then your body will understand that it has to work now. So please follow all of these things thoughtfully.
Do not panic at the thought that you are underweight. Relax. You are on a journey, you will surely reach the destination. But be relaxed and follow everything as instructed.
- Number 5 would be regulating your calorie needs.
For men, it is 2500 calories per day and for women, it’s 2000 calories per day. You have to fulfill this anyway, you can take even more than this. But all the calories that you are intaking should be in a healthy way.
It should come from home-cooked food, salads, and not from junk. So please make sure that you are fulfilling your daily intake of calories. You can eat more than that, you have the liberty.
- Number 6 is no water between the meals.
There is a proper verse in Sanskrit that we should drink little water in between meals. It is really good for the gut. But you do not wish to dilute the protein in any form that you are intaking.
So you will not intake water before a meal or during a meal. You will drink water one hour after the meal. We do not wish to confuse our digestive system at all as it is already confused. So when we are hungry there is a fire burning inside our stomachs. Did you understand?
When you put food into that fire of hunger. The food is digested very well and you drink water above that. Then what will happen? The fire will go off. We do not wish to do that. We want our food to be properly churned.
After you complete eating your food, have a look at the watch. And drink water 1 hour after that. Because then, the food will have been properly churned.
And when you drink water, the churned food will be diluted, and not the nutrients. So please make sure not to drink water for 1 hour after you have food.
- Number 7 is an age-old method that is still being followed by those who are into wrestling.
That is to drink a glass of milk before going to bed. Milk has become a debatable topic nowadays if it’s pure or not or whatever it is.
Have faith in the milk from whatever source you are buying it from. If you will think that I am drinking the chemical one, then it will work the same inside. So if you are taking cow milk, buffalo milk, soya milk, vegan milk, whatever you are taking.
Have faith in the milk that it is providing nutrition to your body, strength to your body, and then see the magic. Because your body operates according to your brain. So make your brain understand first that what you are taking is wow.
And then it will work like wow inside your body. So please be very very positive about what you are taking. If you will curse your food while having it then it will not work for you. Do not think like this at all. Whatever you are eating is God’s grace to us, eat it positively.
This is a bonus point for you. But please make sure that you take your food positively.
- Number 8 is no toxification.
If you are a smoker, a drinker, or any sort of drug consumer. Then nothing will work for you.
So do not give it a try at all, you will remain as it is. So what needs to be done? You will have to quit all the toxification at first. After you quit all of them, if you will intoxicate your body and then start, then everything will work.
Understood? So a very big no to toxification. I am telling you to be mentally positive but you are taking negativity physically. So it should not happen. That’s when things are going to work for you.
Next would be consistency and being persistent. It’s very very very important.
Should I tell you one thing?
Put a bucket of water at one place on one day and come back home, repeat it again. Do you think a lake will be formed in such a way? Not at all. If you will put a small consistent source of water there and it goes on and on continuously.
Then a lake will be formed one day for sure. What did you get? You have to be consistent. Make small efforts but do that regularly. Keep doing it until we get the desired results.
